Who We Are

We are an independent mobile games development studio founded in 2015 with a passion for innovative games centered around gamers experience with captivating graphics and natural intuitive game play. Cryptyd, Inc. is Delaware company, with a registered office in Newton, MA, USA and operational headquarters in Alexandria, Egypt. We have the vision of becoming the best games development studio in the Middle East addressing regional and global markets.

Why We Are Unique

We are one of the few game developers who are from the MENA region and are experts in the MENA region, we are cost effective while delivering the highest development quality. We put our stakeholders inside the development process, our stakeholders has access to and can give direction to everything during production including timelines, tasks, output and insights at anytime. as ironic as it may sound we take games seriously.

Company Founders

Ahmed Alaa

A visionary with a huge passion for video games since a young age. Following his passion He founded Spyros Entertainment then Cryptyd, Inc. becoming one of the successful games development startups in the Middle East. He is a computer science graduate, A 3D- character artist and an expert in game engines like Unity 3D and Unreal engine 4. Currently teaching Game art, Design and Agile game Development at (ITI), a post graduate school in Egypt. Also got featured in 25 entrepreneurs under 25 by Cairo scene in 2016.

Amera Ahmed

Amira has always had an intense passion for games. This passion led her to work on writing code for games where she has 7 years experience in the field. She sets the vision and the policy of the technical implementation of our projects. Amira is also setup the training and mentoring our developers making sure they use the latest and the best tools in the industry.

Ayman Ashour

Founder and Managing Director of Newton International Management, LLC. Ashour is a recognized leader in the ID and security industry for 35 years. Ashour's experience includes serving as Chairman and CEO of Bluehill ID and Identive Group, as COO and later CEO of the ASSA ABLOY Identification Technology Group (ITG). Ashour served as Managing Director of Williams Plc Asia Operations encompassing the Asian units of Chubb, Kidde & Yale and the global operations of Guardforce International and Chubb Physical Security Group.

Tarek Shahin

Tarek Shahin (born 1982) is an Egyptian cartoonist and author. He is best known as the author and illustrator of the comic strip 'Al Khan', which first appeared on the pages of The Daily News Egypt newspaper in 2008, and continues to run independently on the series' website.
Shahin's satirical work in the 2000s is seen to have foreshadowed the protests that would ultimately lead to regime change in Egypt in 2011.
In 2017, 'Redemption: An Al Khan Series,' a three-part story, was launched, set in the aftermath of the Six-Day War in 1967.
Shahin is also a banker in the City of London, according to the bio section of "As You Were," his fourth 'Al Khan' book.

What are we working on right now

Currently we are in the pre-production phase of a new mobile game, code name: “Cyberpunk”, A sci-fi stealth action multiplayer game with intense atmosphere and gameplay, the game is the first IP for the company in it’s main direction.
